Lodge Pole Room(meeting room)Whether you're looking for a place to meet with a group of quilters or scrap bookers, or just want to hang out, The Lodge Pole Room awaits you. Quilters are welcome to bring their sewing machines an set up using our tables and abundant electrical outlets. Scrap bookers can spread out as well to work on their projects. This room also is a great place to host a birthday party or other group event. Retreat goers use it on occasion as well. The Lodge Pole room is aptly named for the knotty Lodge Pole Pine paneling that surrounds the room. The trees came from the forest here on Cedar Mountain Farm. (We actually have far more pines, firs, and larches than we do cedar trees.) Kids love the floor of the Lodge Pole Room. As one young visitor described our epoxy stone floor, "You have a rock carpet!" A wood stove completes the rustic atmosphere and provides extra warmth when needed. A small living room adjoins this area. Here we have exercise equipment and a TV with DVD player. The Lodge Pole Room provides a cool retreat on a scorching summer day. So grab a movie, a group of friends an come on over!
