Truly the gem in Idaho's crown, North Idaho boasts something for everyone.  Shoppers, outdoor enthusiasts, history buffs, seekers of entertainment will find an abundance of activities here. 


Silverwood Theme Park

Full of roller coasters and water fun for the whole family.  Just three miles from the farm.  We have discount tickets.  Their website tells it all, so go have a look at Silverwood and then come back to our site and reserve your stay!


Snow Activities

The Coeur d'Alene area ranks in the country's top 10 for its skiing.  Visitors and locals alike enjoy downhill and cross country skiing, tubing, and sledding.  Four Ski Resorts within reasonable driving distance of Cedar Mountain Farm provide opportunities for the downhill or cross country skier to test a variety of terrain and snow conditions.


Water Activities

We're surrounded by lakes, rivers, and streams.  Swim, boat, ski, play in the sand or fish.  Several lake cruises are available in Coeur d'Alene or Sandpoint.


Golf

North Idaho has many spectacular golf courses:  Idaho's #1 Coeur d'Alene Resort Golf Course with the famous floating green, Idaho's #5 Avondale, Twin Lakes, Hidden Lakes, Highlands, Prairie Falls, and many more.

Entertainment

Coeur d'Alene and Sandpoint both have play houses.  Just over the Washington state line in Liberty Lake The Rockin' B Ranch cowboy supper club delights visitors with music and fine vittles.


Hiking and Biking

North Idaho is home to several awesome bike trails. The Hiawatha Trail and The Trail of the Coeur d'Alene's offer beautiful scenery and safe travel.  Trail of the Coeur d'Alene's brochure. Hikers will appreciate the incredible number and variety of hikes in the area.


Horse Activities

Rider Ranch and Western Pleasure Guest Ranch offer a variety of horse related experiences.


State Parks

Several within easy driving distance...Round Lake, Sam Owen, Farragut, and Heyburn.

Outlet malls, antique stores, malls, thrift stores--something for everyone.


History

Idaho History is replete with mountain men, native Americans, missionaries, pioneers, and the journeys of Lewis and Clark.


Restaurants

Nearby Athol and Bayview have nice small town eateries.  To the North, Sandpoint has something for everyone. Coeur d'Alene to the south sports a myriad of tastes and styles.
